Hi, my name is Yaw Owusu. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media & Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Fall 2021, and prior to that, I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Entertainment Technology & General Studies from Howard Community College in May 2019, however I’ve been working in digital media professionally since 2016 doing various projects raging from social media content creation, to website design, to SEO.
I am currently a Digital Marketing Specialist at i4cp where I have been leading various initiatives to enhance the company’s online presence. I have conducted a social media audit, collaborated with the research team there to create SEO-friendly content, and significantly increased impressions and engagements on social channels through data-driven strategies. I have also implemented an internal newsletter to boost employee engagement and activated the API in HubSpot for efficient data collection.
Moving forward, I am eager to continue leveraging my skills in website development, Adobe Suite, and social media management to drive digital marketing success. I am passionate about exploring new strategies and staying up to date with the latest trends in the industry.
